Cricfy TV Subtitles Not Working? How to Fix (2026)
Watching a movie on Cricfy TV and the subtitles won't show? Or they're in the wrong language? Here's how to sort it.
First: enable subtitles in the player
Tap the player screen to show controls, then look for the CC / subtitle icon. If it's off, turn it on and pick your language. On many streams, subtitles are off by default — this alone fixes most cases.
If the built-in player has no subtitle option
Switch to an external player — this is the real fix:
- Install VLC or MX Player from the Play Store.
- In Cricfy TV settings, set it as the external/default player.
- Reopen the stream — VLC/MX have full subtitle controls: enable, language, size, sync delay, even downloading subtitles.
Subtitles out of sync?
In VLC: tap the subtitle icon → Subtitle delay and nudge it forward/backward until it matches. In MX Player: Menu → Subtitle → Synchronization. A 200–500ms adjustment usually nails it.
Hindi / regional subtitles
Not every stream carries Hindi subtitles. If the subtitle track list only shows English, the source simply doesn't include others — try a different channel for the same content, or download subtitles separately in MX Player (it can fetch them automatically).
