Cricfy TV Notifications Not Working? Enable Match Alerts (2026)
Want a ping when your match starts, but no notifications arrive? Android is probably blocking them. Here's the fix.
Step 1: Allow notifications
- Go to Settings → Apps → Cricfy TV → Notifications.
- Make sure "Show notifications" is ON.
- Enable all notification categories the app offers (match alerts, updates).
Step 2: Disable battery restrictions
This is the silent killer. Aggressive battery savers (especially on Xiaomi, Vivo, Oppo, Samsung) kill background app activity:
- Settings → Apps → Cricfy TV → Battery → set to Unrestricted.
- On Xiaomi/Vivo/Oppo: also enable Autostart for the app.
- Lock the app in the recent-apps screen (tap the lock icon) so the system doesn't swipe-kill it.
Step 3: Check inside the app
Some versions have their own notification toggle in settings — make sure match reminders are enabled there too.
Still nothing?
- DND mode silences everything — check your schedule.
- Reinstalling the app resets notification channels if they're corrupted.
- On Android 13+, notification permission is asked at first launch — if you denied it then, Step 1 re-enables it.
