Cricfy TV Keeps Buffering? 7 Settings That Fix It Fast

Cricfy TV buffering always seems to strike at the worst moment — the final over, the penalty shootout, the last lap. Before you blame the app, run through these seven fixes. Most take under a minute, and one of them almost always solves it.

1. Lower the stream quality

This is the fastest win. Inside the player, drop from HD to SD or 480p. On a phone screen the difference is small, but the data requirement drops dramatically — and a smooth SD stream beats a frozen HD one every time.

2. Switch from mobile data to Wi-Fi (or vice versa)

Congested mobile networks are the top cause of buffering during popular matches. If you're on data, jump on Wi-Fi; if the Wi-Fi is shared with a house full of people, your mobile data might actually be faster. Test both.

3. Close background apps

Apps syncing photos, auto-playing videos, or downloading updates in the background steal both bandwidth and RAM. Close everything you don't need before the match.

4. Try a different channel for the same match

Big matches usually appear on several channels in the app. If one source buffers, switch to another carrying the same game — different servers, different load.

5. Clear the app cache

Go to Settings → Apps → Cricfy TV → Storage → Clear cache. Bloated cache slows down stream loading over time; clearing it is safe and takes seconds.

6. Restart your router and phone

The classic for a reason. A quick router reboot clears connection issues that build up over days, and restarting your phone frees RAM the stream needs.

7. Update the app
